General Secretary To Lam meets generations of National Assembly Deputies

On the morning of August 27, General Secretary To Lam presided over a gathering with nearly 2,000 National Assembly deputies from different terms. The meeting was attended by State President Luong Cuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.

Also present at the event were former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh, former Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, former National Assembly Chairmen Nguyen Sinh Hung and Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, along with many current and former leaders of the Party, the State, and the National Assembly.

The gathering was organized to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), and to mark the upcoming 80th Anniversary of Vietnam’s first general election (January 6, 1946 – January 6, 2026).
