On the morning of December 19, 2025, in Ninh Bình, the Ministry of Health held the inauguration ceremony for the construction works of Bach Mai Hospital – Campus 2 and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital – Campus 2, two key national healthcare projects of large scale, featuring modern facilities and high-level medical technology.

The ceremony was connected via live broadcast as part of a nationwide series of groundbreaking and inauguration events for key projects directed by the Government, demonstrating a strong commitment to investing in the synchronous and sustainable development of healthcare infrastructure. Attending the ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan, along with leaders from central ministries, agencies, and Ninh Bình Province.

Both hospitals are oriented to develop into specialized medical centers, contributing to easing the overload at central-level hospitals while improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for the people.

In her speech at the ceremony, Minister Dao Hong Lan acknowledged the close guidance of the Government, the coordination among ministries and agencies, and the efforts of the units involved in project implementation. She affirmed that the inauguration marks an important step toward putting the facilities into effective operation, meeting the expectations of the Party, the State, and the people.

The inauguration ceremony represents a significant political and social milestone, affirming a new stage of development for Vietnam’s healthcare sector in the process of building a modern, integrated healthcare system for community well-being.
