On September 8, 2025, at the 80th Anniversary Celebration of Vietnam Customs’ Traditional Day (September 10, 1945 – 2025), the General Department of Customs solemnly held a commemorative ceremony attended by Mr. Nguyễn Văn Thắng, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Minister of Finance; Mr. Nguyễn Đức Kiên, former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly and former Director General of the General Department of Customs; together with leaders of the Ministry of Finance and generations of Vietnam Customs officials.
